18" SOLID BRASS PORTHOLE COVER

This cover makes an awesome picture frame… this is very heavy… weighs 16 lb. This cover was salvaged from a wooden tugboat (The SeaBoard built in 1928) that worked Boston harbor for 40 years. This item has been completely restored - the brass was cleaned, burnished, polished and sealed with clear lacquer. New glass was installed. The news clip is a copy of the actual Boston Globe article.
