MECHANIZED FOG HORN

These solid-brass, mechanized foghorns hung outside the wheelhouse doors of power vessels in the 40s, 50s and early 60s were use as a sounding device (or a backup). Sounding the horn indicated the presence of vessel in close proximity before electrical horns were more widely used. Most wooden Chris Crafts were so equipped. This item has been completely restored. Horn works perfect and is Very Loud!!!!
