20" SOLID-BRASS SIX-SPOKE SHIP'S WHEEL

The handles appear to be walnut. This item has been completely restored… the brass was cleaned, burnished, polished and sealed with clear lacquer. The handles were stripped, sanded and coated with four coats of marine Spar varnish. The age is unknown… estimate 1950s… probably salvaged from a sailboat. This item purchased at an estate sale in Rockland, Maine.

Size: spoke to spoke… 20” and the wheel itself has a 12”diameter.
